Salley Community Update, Feb 2025
Welcoming Mark Benussi as an Advisor at Salley, Introducing Salley Lessons, Recap: Salley Session on Productivity and Prioritization and Salley AI pilots with select companies, starting soon.
Hi friends,
It’s already March! Can you believe it?! At least, the weather is getting warmer in New York, haha. In relation to Salley, we made good of progress last month across product, engineering, our enterprise pipeline, etc.
Without much further ado, let’s get into it:
Welcoming Mark Benussi as an Advisor at Salley.
Mark is a Senior Director at Salesforce. Before that, he was the Director of Technical Consulting at Slack, where he led a team of brilliantly talented Technical Architects who solved complex challenges and delivered solutions for Slacks largest enterprise customers across North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
He’s held multiple senior operations roles, such as AKQA where he was Director of Technical Operations, among others. From my first meeting with him, it was clear that he was passionate about our application of AI and behavioral science to solve key pain points at enterprises. He is ecstatic about our product’s potential to deliver significant value and meaning for users.
Excited to have him involved as we build and begin onboarding our first enterprise pilot customers.
Introducing Salley Lessons.
Earlier this year, we soft launched Salley Lessons - a newsletter for leadership growth insights. It already has more than 5000 readers with a majority of them being senior managers and executives at some of the best companies. Engagement is also pretty good. The newsletter focuses mainly sharing key insights and tactics on navigating leadership issues that come up in the workplace.
This aligns well with our mission of advancing human potential in the age of AI. Especially as organizations begin to value soft skills a lot more as a result of increasing AI automation in the workplace. Sign up here to get the next newsletter in your inbox!
Recap: Salley Session on Productivity and Prioritization
Last week, we hosted yet another engaging Salley Session in the West Village of New York City. Topic of the night was on “Productivity and Prioritization”. Mastering productivity and prioritization is essential in today's fast-paced work environment, where competing demands and endless notifications vie for our attention.
This interactive workshop equipped some rising managers and executives from top companies with practical strategies for managing their time, setting meaningful priorities, and maintaining focus on high-impact work that is crucial for both individual and team success.
Salley AI pilots with select companies, starting soon.
As some of you already know, we’ve spent the last couple of months working tirelessly on Salley AI. It’s a whole new way for teams to get more done, faster. We’re refining the tech internally to make sure it’s ready for prime time soon. And, we’re taking a fundamentally new approach to vertical AI agents for the enterprise.
That said, we already have a number of top brand name companies (I can’t mention them yet) already lining up to pilot Salley AI this year. It’s going to be epic!
Demo reactions from decision makers have been awesome - some even offered to invest on the spot. So I guess it means that we’re doing something right.
How you can help:
I'd appreciate introductions to Operations, Engineering, Product and IT leadership at companies with a minimum of 100 employees. We’ll give you a special gift if you make a great connection!
Wishing you an amazing week ahead.
Richard Mensah,
Founder & CEO at Salley
