Salley Community Update, Q2 2025
We're halfway through 2025. And, we've made a lot of progress :)
Hi friends,
Happy 4th of July weekend! It’s been awhile since you last heard from me directly. All is well! We’ve been super heads down on Salley AI. It’s getting a lot of momentum. Also, we recently got the green light to pilot Salley AI at one of the largest telecom companies in the US. That’s a huge deal. And it’s just a tip of the iceberg on the progress we’ve made so far.
As some of you know, we started Salley Lessons in the beginning of the year and have been sharing helpful tips there every week. Be sure to subscribe to that if you’re not receiving those updates. In that newsletter, we touch on important leadership related topics. Especially as the workplace changes due to AI.
On a personal front, it’s been crazy, I spent sometime in Ghana in April then, headed over to San Francisco in early May to meet a number some of our enterprise customer champions. Luckily, I had time to catch up with my startup founder friends there too. Afterwards, I returned to NYC to expand the Salley team and locked in some new strategic partnerships.
Here are some pictures from the last few months:
Brunch with my friend John who’s a Thiel Fellow.
Roboflow office visit with my friend, Joseph Nelson the Founder & CEO, who recently raised a $40M series B.
Visiting my friend Nikhil Gupta who’s the founder at Vapi, who recently raised a $20M series A.
And many more :)
On Salley AI
Things are moving along pretty well so far. Some quick highlights:
We had 133% QoQ pipeline growth of enterprise pilot demand.
We brought on a Head of ML with 20 years of experience from Apple, Paypal, Intuit, etc.
Last month, we got a green light to pilot Salley at a large US based telecom company.
I've demoed Salley to key decision makers and one thing is clear: the appetite for AI products that actually solve a real, painful business need is at an all time high.
From day one, our belief has been simple: AI should give people superpowers, not replace them. And this approach is beginning to pay off. Our enterprise pipeline grew by more that 133% in the last quarter and it's ramping up.
We're still early in our journey but it's clear that scaling companies and enterprises can't wait to have Salley join their teams to help drive momentum, streamline collaboration, and empower teams operate at their highest potential.
As the saying goes, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." Well, we're building magic now :)
So…what’s next?
We’re currently focused on increasing our product velocity to begin onboarding our enterprise pipeline. So much to build! I’d appreciate it if you could put me in touch with world class AI engineers. Also, we’ve got some good investor interest so far. Not currently rising capital but I’m thinking of raising soon. Let me know if you’d like to get involved.
Have a great week ahead!
Richard Mensah
